MAWA 2025 Annual Report
TThe Murrysville Area Watershed Association’s 2025 Annual Report highlights progress in improving local water quality, including completing the Lyons Run passive treatment system and securing $2.1M+ in funding for future projects. Expanded stewardship efforts, strong leadership, and community involvement supported monitoring, restoration, and long-term watershed health across Southwest Pennsylvania.

MAWA received a $70,000 grant from the Richard King Mellon Foundation to improve water quality monitoring, expand environmental education, and boost community engagement. The funding will support stream data collection, stewardship training, and outreach, advancing MAWA’s mission to protect local waterways and promote environmental awareness. Learn more...
