MAWA 2025 Annual Report
TThe Murrysville Area Watershed Association’s 2025 Annual Report highlights progress in improving local water quality, including completing the Lyons Run passive treatment system and securing $2.1M+ in funding for future projects. Expanded stewardship efforts, strong leadership, and community involvement supported monitoring, restoration, and long-term watershed health across Southwest Pennsylvania.
MAWA received a $70,000 grant from the Richard King Mellon Foundation to improve water quality monitoring, expand environmental education, and boost community engagement.
